Black Sherif rejects ¢97,000, charges ¢489,000 for UK show

Last week, there was a Ghanaian show in the UK that saw most Ghanaian artists performing. Thus, Ghana’s major annual UK show, Ghana Party in the Part which took place last Saturday, 16th July, 2022.

Most of Ghana’s young hit makers were billed for the show. Equally, the organizers wanted to bill Black Sherif for the show. However, Black Sherif’s team turned down their £10,000 (¢97,00) offer.

According to an anonymous member of the organizers, Black Sherif charged £50,000 (¢489,000) instead for the performance. Mind you, he is a new act with three major hit songs.

Meanwhile, the exorbitant price Black Sherif was charging equals what the likes of Burna Boy, Sarkodie, Davido, and Wizkid charge. So we ask, has Black Sherif reached their level to charge as much as almost half a million for a show?
